Bill Weitzel served in the US Air Force where, during his military service, attended a satellite school from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and various local Community Colleges to get his education in the area of Industrial Technology/Engineering. He used his educational background and pursued a successful career in the foodservice industry as a Territory Sales Manager, Marketing Associate, and District Sales Manager, for the 2 largest foodservices in the country. His dedication to perfection with clear defined goals, lead him to receive the top national sales awards for both companies. During the following 13 years, he then moved on to a successful career as a restauranteur. 12 years ago, following a burning passion for what once was just a home based hobby of working with golf equipment, his dedication to the pursuit of perfection, to the customer, etc., all these attributes were translated to the golf industry, on the equipment side, as Bill, over the years, attended numerous golf club fitting, building, and repair training schools all over the eastern half of the US while executing numerous mentorships, to "hone" his craft, all leading to his title and recognition as being a Master Club Fitter with the Swing Surgeon, Don Trahan, and being recognized by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the "Top 100" Golf Club Fitters in the USA.
Conquest Custom Golf, Bill Weitzel, has over 12 years experience fitting golfers of all skill levels, to equipment that fit "their" unique swing. In addition to being a Swing Surgeon Master Club Fitter, Bill was recently recognized by Golf Digest as being one of the "Top 100" Golf Club Fitters in the entire United States, the only one in southwest Ohio! Bill is very experienced in working with Miura, Tom Wishon, Alpha, and all the "Name Brand" equipment lines, as well as being certified with Aldila, Aerotech, Accra, KBS, True Temper, and is an Advanced Certified Rifle Fitting Center.
