Certified Professional John W. Sokolowski
After a long amateur career, I retired from business in 2008, moved to Texas and went into full-time study of the game of golf. In 2010, I turned professional and entered the PGA Professional Golf Management Program. I am presently entering the final phase of this program. I've been a student of Don Trahan's PPGS system for 6 years and believe that, "Decreasing the length of your backswing will not reduce your club head velocity at ball impact." I have three amateur club championships in MA, NY, and PA and I wish I could count the number of eagle 2's on par fours but I didn't keep track. I've had 3 holes in ones and one double eagle. I've worked as a volunteer helping kids learn the game since the early 1970's. I was involved with the inception of The First Tee in the 1990's and went through two of their training programs in Las Vegas and Phoenix. This was where I fell in love with teaching people the wonderful game of golf. In 2014, I moved back home to PA to be near family and continue my teaching. You will find me excited to help you learn the "three secrets" of Don Trahan PPGS program, you will be hitting the ball straighter, longer, and with more confidence than you ever have before.
